Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, seeks an Account Manager to join its industry leading sales team. Youll be responsible for revenue and profit growth of programs and services in targeted accounts. Using a consultative sales approach, youll build relationships with existing customers by executing system assurance programs that meet their key business needs. With strong account leadership, youll also convert strategic competitive accounts and sell new technologies to current customers.

What You Will Do:
Execute strong team leadership by coaching and training other District Reps, championing corporate initiatives, and by planning and leading portions of District Meetings

Generate and execute sales plans and strategies to close new opportunities within existing customer base, and in major, competitively-held accounts, to meet defined territory profit increase goals

Work closely with large, strategic current and prospective customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales within assigned territory

Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders within current and prospective customers, including plant or facility executives

Engage in problem-solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels

Demonstrate the ability to stabilize jeopardy business in large, strategic accounts

Territory/Location Information:
This position is based in Longview, WA near Vancouver, WA

Territory covers about a 70-mile radius of the surrounding area

Targeted accounts are within the Pulp & Paper industries

0% overnight travel required

Training programs are held in the field and at Nalco Water Headquarters in Naperville, IL; travel is arranged and paid for by Nalco Water. Based on your skill level and experience, topics covered may include technology, product, service, business and industry acumen, direct coaching and mentoring, sales management and leadership, classroom training and certifications.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree

Five years of technical sales or field sales support experience in the paper industry

Possess a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record

Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role

Preferred Qualifications:
Sales experience in a Board & Packaging industry

Bachelors degree in engineering ( chemical, mechanical, industrial) paper science or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.)

Working knowledge of paper machine operations, wet end chemistry, pulp mill operations, wet end chemistry & pulp mill operations

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range: Total compensation range is $103,300 $154,900. This position has base salary and is eligible for incentive compensation based on performance, per plan terms.

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range is based on full-time 40 hours per week. Ecolab in good faith anticipates it will pay within the posted range. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining the compensation for a potential new employee such as education, training, experience, work location, travel (if required), etc.
